Our three meatloaf mixes from AVO are a recent addition to our range after extensive kitchen trials, tweaking and tasting… We were determined to find the perfect trio!

We’d like to think that Meatloaf is the ultimate savoury comfort food, a traditional classic often created from a secret recipe.

Our goal was to create blends of ingredients that not only performed consistently well during make up but looked appealing in your cabinet, maintained succulence during cooking (as so many meatloaf recipes are reported as ‘dry’ or ‘crumbly’) and above all tasted fantastic. We think that our Meatloaf Mixes tick all of these boxes!

Our AVO Traditional French Onion which is packed with the flavours of thyme, parsley and black pepper, perfect for beef, venison and pork. Secondly, one that’s perfect for lamb or poultry, a Mediterranean style with a punchy blend of paprika, garlic, oregano, thyme and black pepper. Finally, cheese burger style! Cheese, chilli, basil, rosemary, mustard and a few twists of black pepper deliver a really tasty and flavoursome loaf. This works well with all meats but is perfect with beef.

The loaf can be sold as a whole or sliced to make individual portions. Add extra flavour and texture by drizzling a complementary sauce on top… Mediterranean Style Meatloaf with Italian Style Tomato Sauce or perhaps Traditional French Onion with Apple Cider and Sage Sauce. Delicious!

Perfect as a midweek family meal solution with mashed potatoes or mac ‘n’ cheese and veggies, included in a picnic or as the hero dish at the weekend.

Meatloaf can be cooked from frozen.
