These Gourmet Garlic Butter Burgers are a unique twist on a BBQ classic, bursting with flavour with herb butter after notes.

Ingredients

Method of Preparation

  1. Press out 112g of the burger meat.
  2. Roll the edges in the AVO Herb Butter Crumb or AVO French Deco Crumb
  3. Brush over with the AVO Lafiness Herb Butter Marinade over the top
  4. Garnish with thin sliced lemon on the top of each burger.

There’s the not to be missed ‘Butchers Forum’ to enable the exchange tips and ideas and explore current trends. Always popular, the ‘Butchers Forum’ is a great way to learn what others are doing and what works for them.

BBQ Competition

The BBQ competition will feature numerous categories from steaks and burgers to sausages and kebabs. Products will be cooked and judged live on the day by an experienced team of judges with trophies and certificates awarded across all categories. Plus, additional awards will be presented for the ‘Innovative BBQ Product’ and ‘BBQ Champion Product’.

Butchers Challenge

Recipe Idea: Lafiness Alabama Pork Steak Pockets with Meatballs

Lafiness Alabama Pork Steak Pockets

Give succulent pork a smoky hint of traditional Alabama spices.

Ingredients

Method of Preparation

  1. Cut the pork steaks into strips approximately 1½ inches thick.
  2. Create a ‘pocket’ in each strip by cutting along roughly ¾ of its length. Start your cut at the point at which the fat meets the meat, then end the cut about ¼ inch from the end of the steak.
  3. Insert a meatball into each pocket.
  4. Cover with the AVO Lafiness Alabama Marinade
  5. Garnish with cherry tomatoes.
