For those looking for ideas and inspiration for the BBQ season, National Craft Butchers are staging a one-day event at Eastwood Hall, Nottingham, on Tuesday 26th March 2019.
The day will include:

- BBQ Product Competition
- Butchers Challenge
- Free Prize Draw
On hand will be a great line up of exhibitions eager to help butchers prepare for the BBQ season along with a series of demonstrations to help optimise product innovation and increase sales.
There’s the not to be missed ‘Butchers Forum’ to enable the exchange tips and ideas and explore current trends. Always popular, the ‘Butchers Forum’ is a great way to learn what others are doing and what works for them.
The BBQ competition will feature numerous categories from steaks and burgers to sausages and kebabs. Products will be cooked and judged live on the day by an experienced team of judges with trophies and certificates awarded across all categories. Plus, additional awards will be presented for the ‘Innovative BBQ Product’ and ‘BBQ Champion Product’.
New this year, ‘The Butchers Challenge’. The Butchers Challenge will see competitors go head to head in producing burgers in a time trial, creating kebabs and for fun guessing the weight of meat ingredients. Click here to email NCB and register for the Butchers Challenge.
During the day hot and cold food will be served, providing the perfect backdrop to mingle and network.
The day will conclude at 5.00pm with presentations followed by an opportunity to chat with the judges.
